On-demand generator controls for efficient rig power

Horizon needed to utilize eight 455 kW generators with automatic start and stop control throughout changing drilling operations.

ACE delivered APEX Power on Demand, allowing generator priority levels, user-adjustable start and stop thresholds based on percent power, and individual generator enable or disable controls for maintenance.

The result was improved generator efficiency with significant fuel savings and reduced emissions.
